Former USC running back Reggie Bush, a member of the 2010 Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, will host a live video chat with fans Tuesday at 4 p.m. PST.
The chat will be located at www.eastbay.com/adidas, where fans can see Bush's responses in real-time. Bush, one of the key subjects in a four-year NCAA investigation that ended last month and resulted in a two-year postseason ban and further sanctions for the Trojans, will also showcase a new adidas shoe in the chat.
"This Tuesday, football fans will have a great opportunity to ask Reggie Bush about the Saints' Super Bowl-winning season, his off-season training and his recent trip to South Africa he took with adidas for the 2010 FIFA World Cup," adidas spokesman Paul Jackiewicz said in a statement. "Fans can login to www.eastbay.com/adidas and submit questions in real time and view Bush's live responses via video."
No fan questions will be excluded or pre-screened from the live chat room, chat officials said. The shoe Bush will demonstrate is called the Scorch adiZero -- and, according to adidas, it is the lightest football cleat ever made at 8.6 ounces. Those who participate in the chat will also have an opportunity to win a football autographed by Bush.
In his three-year USC career, Bush totaled 6,338 all-purpose yards and 41 touchdowns.
