After being hit by a pitch, the Angels' top prospect, Mike Trout, missed Saturday night's game for Double-A Arkansas with what Angels farm director Abe Flores described as a patella and quadriceps injury.
It doesn't appear to be anything serious, Flores said, and Trout has not been placed on the disabled list. Trout, an outfielder, is widely considered either the No. 1 or 2 prospect in baseball. He's batting .303 with 18 RBIs and 16 stolen bases in 48 games.
