Former Washington Wizards guard Nick Young was introduced to the Los Angeles media before Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets, after being acquired in a deadline-day deal by the Clippers on Thursday.
Well, reintroduced would be the more accurate term. Young, a Cleveland High and USC product, has spent the majority of his life in Los Angeles. A few of the questions asked of him Saturday centered around that topic: How would he adjust to playing at home, distractions and all, and was he excited for it?
Young said the situation with the Clippers is far better than it was with Washington, given that he's gone from competing for the worst record in the league to competing for a high playoff seed.
Other topics in the press conference included his likely role with his new team and his feelings upon driving to Staples Center on Saturday morning. And, yes, Tuesday's road game against Indiana is still the target debut date for the 6-7 guard.
