Video: Paul, Griffin talk loss to Minnesota

By Pedro Moura

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul and Blake Griffin had similar responses when asked about the implications of Tuesday's 109-97 loss to Minnesota with a tough road trip beginning later this week.

Paul said he wouldn't panic, adding that Minnesota made a ton of shots in the contest. He said he can recall similar nights happening to the Clippers earlier this season.

He also said closing games out was "something we got to learn."

Griffin wasn't worried about the Clippers' defensive performance because, he said, their "one-on-one defense was pretty solid."

He said that the Clips "focused more" on Minnesota's starters than reserves Derrick Williams and Michael Beasley, who ended up combining for 54 points.
