Yasiel Puig was held out of spring-training drills Thursday due to some swelling above his right knee. Puig fouled a ball off his leg taking batting practice the day before.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said there are no further tests planned on Puig's leg and that he expects him to return to camp ready to go Friday. Puig had his throwing program curtailed last week due to some shoulder soreness.

"He was fine afterward," Mattingly said. "Just had a little swelling, so I don't think we need to send him out there limping around."
