The Ducks beat the Kings tonight at Staples Center, 2-1, in a game that had to be decided by a shootout.

I'll have postgame comments in just a bit.

First, here's the Shootout results:

Anze Kopitar shoots first for Kings, stopped on backhand by Curtis McElhinney.

Corey Perry for the Ducks, goes wide and hits the post. No goal.

Jack Johnson tries the backhand and is stopped.

Teemu Selanne for the Ducks, stopped by Quick's blocker.

Round three and it's Dustin Brown for the Kings, stopped on the glove side.

Here's Saku Koivu for Ducks and he wins it with the forehand over Quick's blocker.

One point for the Kings. Jonathan Quick has to wait until Tuesday in Anaheim to try and get win # 40 on the season.

Post game coming.
