Not the start they wanted

It has been a brutal start by the Ducks tonight against Edmonton, the worst team in the NHL. There has been no hitting and if it wasn't for the brilliant goaltending of Jonas Hiller, the Ducks could easily be down by a goal or two.

As we reported before the game, this is the first of four games for the Ducks against the Oilers between now and the end of the regular season. Eight points up for grabs, but, boy, the Ducks need to snap out of their stupor.

Keep this stat in mind, folks: The first goal scored against the Oilers is key. When that happens, the Oilers are a horrid 6-26-3, but the Ducks are very lucky they haven't given up at least a goal so far in this one.
