As the Ducks prepare for a seven-game road trip beginning Tuesday in Chicago, they made another roster move Monday to gain additional depth up front.

Patrick Maroon was recalled from the organization’s AHL affiliate in Syracuse, the second time this month the 23-year-old left wing from St. Louis was brought up by the club.

Maroon has appeared in six games for the Crunch this season, totaling four goals and four assists. His plus-6 rating is tied for fourth in the AHL. He was recalled by the Ducks on Oct. 16 but did not appear in a game before being sent down two days later.

On Sunday, the Ducks recalled left wing Jean-Francois Jacques from Syracuse. Jacques, however, will not be available to play until he serves a five-game suspension for instigating a fight with Mike Duco of Vancouver during an exhibition game Sept. 24. He was sent down to Syracuse five days later, where he served a one-game suspension for his actions against the Canucks.

Jacques has appeared in four games with the Crunch, totaling one assist and two penalty minutes. He won be available to the Ducks until Nov. 3 against the Rangers.
