Is the Momentum Train a'rollin? After this 103-97 win over the Nuggets, the third consecutive victory without Kobe Bryant and the second straight against a high-end opponent, optimism certainly doesn't feel out of order. Matt Barnes, Andrew Bynum, and Metta World Peace all enjoyed huge games, while solid support was offered by Pau Gasol and Steve Blake. Given the last minute distraction of Mike Brown suddenly leaving the building because of an undisclosed personal matter, the team's collective showing and focus was even more impressive.
On a far less serious note, Brian wasn't feeling well and went home early, so it was just me hosting LLN. And for reasons I don't quite understand, some bizarre technical difficulties were experienced. First, the main computer we use to run the show rebooted itself out of nowhere, so I had to start the show again from scratch. And the actual show somehow was saved in two parts, thus a pair of replay screens. Again, no clue why. But if you gotta choose between the Lakers struggling to execute or me, I imagine this is the scenario you'd pick.
