In a nice change of pace, the Lakers squared up against a vastly inferior team, and rather than monkey around instead went ahead and beat the snot out of them. L.A. wins 99-87 over the Warriors in Oakland Wednesday night, a nice tune up ahead of Friday's rubber match in the season series against the Spurs.
The big theme was sharing, as the Lakers racked up a season high 34 assists, coming on only 37 field goals. Pau Gasol led the way with 22/11/11 and three blocks, while Andrew Bynum (31 points, nine boards) and Metta World Peace (18 points, nine assists) were juggernauts as well.
In tonight's LLN, we kick around those big performances, as well as the Western Conference playoff race and the potential return of Kobe Bryant against the Spurs in San Antonio.
