Mike Brown gives Pau Gasol the night off vs. Utah

Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol will sit out of Tuesday's exhibition game against the Utah Jazz.

Lakers head coach Mike Brown said he was just giving Gasol a night off because he had looked "tired" recently.

"Pau played in the Olympics, Brown said. "He's had a long summer so I'm going to give him a little rest tonight because he's looked a little fatigued."

Antawn Jamison will start in Gasol's place.
