Devon Blackmon of Summit High in Fontana was happy with the opening game of the season, a 42-35 victory Thursday night against Etiwanda at Miller High in Fontana.
While playing quarterback, wingback, wide receiver and defensive back, Blackmon threw a touchdown pass, ran for a score and snagged an interception to seal the victory on the last play of the game, despite playing on a sore ankle.
In this post-game video, he discusses the game and gives a little insight on his recruiting, though he deferred to his coach on specifics. Alabama, USC and UCLA are among the teams pursuing him.
