Malik Felton and Servite are ready to begin Trinity League play this week.

The obvious question: Would Tesoro really beat Santa Margarita again in a rematch?

1. (1) Servite (5-0)
Friars have won a share of five straight league banners, but defense of the Trinity League title has never been tougher.
Last week: idle. Next: vs. JSerra at Saddleback College, Friday, 7 p.m.

2. (2) Mission Viejo (6-0)
Diablos continue to roll teams, and the thinness of Dana Hills' lineup doesn't figure to help it.
Last week: beat Redlands East Valley 42-14. Next: vs. Dana Hills, Friday, 7 p.m.

3. (3) Mater Dei (3-2)
Todd Hunt won his eligibility last week and also scored a touchdown in the Monarchs' easy victory. Next week – not so easy.
Last week: beat Gardena 48-0. Next: vs. St. John Bosco at Santa Ana Stadium, Thursday, 7 p.m.

4. (4) Tesoro (5-1)
The Titans have only one quality victory this season – against Santa Margarita – and hang onto this spot by a thread.
Last week: beat Ridgecrest Burroughs, 49-13. Next: idle.

5. (5) Santa Margarita (4-1)
The past five years the Trinity League has been dominated by Servite, Mater Dei and Orange Lutheran. Now it's anybody's game, including the Eagles'.
Last week: idle. Next: vs. Orange Lutheran at Orange Coast College, Friday, 7:30 p.m.

6. (6) Edison (3-2)
After facing Servite and Mater Dei in consecutive weeks, Edison got a much deserved rest – but there will be no rest for Marina.
Last week: idle. Next: vs. Marina at Huntington Beach, Thursday, 7 p.m.

7. (7) San Clemente (5-1)
After getting under way during Zero Week, the Tritons enjoyed the first of two byes during the season.
Last week: idle. Next: vs. Trabuco Hills, Friday, 7 p.m.

8. (10) JSerra (6-0)
The Lions had the exact same score in their victory over Damien as another major player in the Pac-5 Division – Bishop Amat.
Last week: beat Damien 42-7. Next: vs. Servite at Saddleback College, Friday, 7 p.m.

9. (9) Tustin (4-1)
Defense is Valencia's calling card, and the Tillers – and especially Tyler Siudzinksi – ran roughshod over it.
Last week: beat Placentia Valencia 57-7. Next: vs. Western, Thursday, 7 p.m.

10. (8) Newport Harbor (3-2)
Losing the game wasn't nearly as important as losing its quarterback, Austin Rios. The Sailors need a break.
Last week: lost to Mira Costa 17-6. Next: vs. Huntington Beach, Friday, 7 p.m.
