LA North: Crespi beats Notre Dame on wild play at end of the game

Crespi beat Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 34-28, on a wild play at the end of the game Friday night, earning Crespi a spot in the CIF playoffs. Notre Dame will miss the playoffs for the first time in 25 years.
Crespi quarterback Kenny Stenhouse threw a pass as time expired to Michael Davison, a five-foot tall wide receiver. Davison pitched the ball to Terry Williams, who took it the remaining 45 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
Crespi was down 28-7 in the second half and rallied to beat Notre Dame.
Crespi finished the regular season 7-3 and 2-2 in league play. Notre Dame ended a disappointing 2-8 overall and 1-3 in the Serra League.
