LA North and LA South: CIF state girls volleyball playoffs
Redondo Union and Long Beach Poly are in the Southern California finals of the CIF State Division I girls volleyball playoffs.
Redondo beat Redlands East Valley in three games in the Southern California semifinals. Long Beach Poly beat Marymount in three games in their semifinal match.
Long Beach Poly is home for the Southern California Division I final on Tuesday night.
The Campbell Hall of North Hollywood girls volleyball team lost in three games to top-seeded Cathedral Catholic from San Diego in the Division III girls volleyball playoffs.
Cathedral Catholic plays Canyon Crest from San Diego in the Southern California Division III final.
Sierra Canyon from Chatsworth lost to Tri-City Christian from Oceanside in three games in the semifinals of the Southern California Division V playoffs. Tri-City Christian will face Kings Christian from Lemoore in the Southern California Division V final.
In the Southern California Division II final, St. Lucy's Priory from Glendora, the top seed in the Southern California bracket, plays Troy from Fullerton, the seventh-seeded team. Troy knocked off second-seeded Scripps Ranch from San Diego in four games in the first round and then beat third-seeded Chino Hills in five games in the quarterfinals.
