It's official, Cezar Guerrero is off the board.
The senior point guard from Bellflower St. John Bosco High was one of the Southland's few remaining premier prep basketball players that had not made a decision about his future at the next level. That is, of course, until Monday.
At long last, Guerrero made things official by committing to Oklahoma State, choosing the Cowboys despite having scholarship offers from several programs and receiving plenty of interest from numerous other schools.
"We weighed the pros and cons, and with Oklahoma State, there was a lot of pros. After thinking about, the choice was easy, Oklahoma State was the best fit for Cezar,'' said Joe Covarrubias, who is Guerrero's brother.
