Corinthians is one step from the title series after winning its road leg as the semifinals began last week, with Emerson Sheik's first-half goal providing a 1-0 triumph. Hold on at home, and Boca Juniors or Universidad de Chile await next week.

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

Galaxy at Real Salt Lake

KDOC/Channel 56 and KWHY/Channel 22, 6 p.m.

Everything finally clicked for L.A. on Sunday, but Real Salt Lake is a very different prospect than were the Portland Timbers, especially at Rio Tinto Stadium. RSL is atop the Western Conference and Supporters' Shield standings, with more than double (32-14) the Galaxy's points.

Montreal Impact at Chivas USA

Home Depot Center (Carson), 7:30 p.m.

Former Goats captain Jesse Marsch brings the expansion Impact to Home Depot Center for the first time, and they're coming off a blowout win over Seattle. Chivas has been shut out five times in eight home games, including last weekend's loss to Real Salt Lake.

THURSDAY, JUNE 21

2012 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Czech Republic vs. Portugal

ESPN and ESPN Deportes, 11:30 a.m.

Portugal and the Czechs lost their Euro 2012 group openers, then pulled out two one-goal victories to reach the knockout stage. The winner gets Spain or France in the semifinals. Which probably means Spain. Replay: ESPN Deportes, 5 p.m.

Boca Juniors (Argentina) at Universidad de Chile (Chile)

Fox Deportes, 5 p.m.

Boca heads to Chile for this semifinal second leg with a 2-0 advantage, thanks to goals last week by Santiago Silva and Juan Sanchez MiƱo. Hold on, and the Buenos Aires superpower takes on Corinthians or Santos for South America's club title.

Copa Libertadores Sub-20

Junior (Colombia) vs. River Plate (Argentina), Fox Deportes, 2 p.m.

Universitario (Peru) vs. America (Mexico), Fox Deportes, 9:30 p.m.
