Bob Levey/Getty ImagesReal Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando hopes ankle issues won't keep him out this week vs. L.A. Not a lot of change in the rankings -- no change at all in the top seven -- but kudos to D.C. United, Philadelphia and Vancouver for pulling out, in order, impressive, difficult and emotional victories.
We're in a FIFA international fixture date, and the U.S. U-20 team is in camp before its World Cup qualifiers, so only a few teams have full rosters for this weekend's games (and we note below who's gone on international duty, according to MLS and the affected clubs).
1. REAL SALT LAKE (1-0-0), Last week: 1
Week 1: Won at San Jose, 1-0
Remark: Local hero Nick Rimando (Montclair) played savior in the nets, but bone spurs in an ankle could knock him out.
Who's missing this week: F Alvaro Saborio (Costa Rica), M Will Johnson (Canada), M Arturo Alvarez (El Salvador)
Next: Saturday vs. Galaxy, 6 p.m. (Prime Ticket, 10:30 p.m.)
2. GALAXY (1-0-1), Last week: 2
Week 1: Won at Seattle, 1-0; tied vs. New England, 1-1
Remark: Only one upper-crust MLS club playing at home failed to win. Yep, this one.

3. NEW YORK RED BULLS (1-0-0), Last week: 3

Next: Saturday at Columbus, 1 p.m. (MLS Direct Kick)
4. COLORADO RAPIDS (1-0-0), Last week: 4
Week 1: Won vs. Portland, 3-1
Remark: Sure looked like champs against the expansion Timbers, but Cummings' absence is no plus vs. Goats.

Next: Saturday at Chivas USA, 7:30 p.m. (KDOC/Channel 56)
5. SEATTLE SOUNDERS (0-2-0), Last week: 5
Week 1: Lost vs. Galaxy, 1-0; lost at New York, 1-0

Who's missing this week: Nobody

6. SPORTING CLUB KANSAS CITY (1-0-0), Last week: 6
Week 1: Won at Chivas USA, 3-2
