A pivotal clash pits the Group 8 leader from Argentina's wine country against the only team its lost to -- a 3-1 decision in Mendoza. The Uruguayans look to bounce back from the 5-0 pasting LDU Quito delivered two weeks earlier.

Two top sides last year that are struggling to start this campaign. Both are 0-1-1 and really need a victory, especially FC Dallas, which hasn't yet found a replacement for Dax McCarty, head coach Schellas Hyndman admitted about the most questionable of his offseason maneuvers. CONCACAF U-20 CHAMPIONSHIP

Mexico vs. Trinidad & Tobago

ESPN Deportes, 7 p.m.

Mexico already is through to the all-important quarterfinals in Group D after a 3-0 throttling of Cuba, and T&T will claim another berth with anything better than a 3-0 loss.

MEXICAN PRIMERA DIVISION

Guadalajara at Necaxa

Azteca America (KAZA/Channel 54) and Fox Deportes, 7:10 p.m.

Chivas doesn't win often enough to really threaten for a title, but a victory here -- over a fading Necaxa club that looks certain for the drop -- might be enough to thrust them into the playoffs. And, like with MLS, anything can happen in the Primera Division playoffs.
