USL PREMIER DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE

Ventura County Fusion at Southern California Seahorses

La Mirada High School, 5:30 p.m.

The defending Southwest Division champion Fusion need a two-goal victory, or a high-scoring one-goal win, to book their berth in the U.S. Open Cup. The Seahorses, coming off an upset of Orange County Blue Star, are looking for their fourth win in five games.

Also

L.A. Legends at L.A. Blues 23, Palisades High School (Pacific Palisades), 7 p.m.

NATIONAL PREMIER SOCCER LEAGUE

SUNDAY, MAY 29

  • TELEVISION

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Manchester United (England) vs. Barcelona (Spain)

Fox Soccer Channel, 6 a.m.

If you missed Saturday's title game at Wembley, the three Fox soccer channels are showing it six times, with a time slot to fit nearly any schedule. Replays: Fox Deportes, 8 a.m., noon and 6 p.m.; Fox Soccer Plus, 2 p.m.; FSC, 5 p.m.

ITALIAN COPPA ITALIA

Inter Milan vs. Palermo

GolTV, noon

It hasn't been the easiest road for defending champ Inter, which needed two one-goal aggregate victories and a penalty-kicks triumph to reach the final, in Rome, of Italy's top club competition. Palermo's path has been nearly identical. Replay: 7 p.m.

English League One

Promotion final: Huddersfield vs. Peterborough United, Fox Soccer Plus, 6:55 a.m., 6 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Brazilian Brasileirão Petrobras

Palmeiras at Cruzeiro, GolTV, 2 and 9 p.m.

FRENCH LIGUE 1

Olympique Marseille at Caen

Fox Soccer Channel, noon

OM has already secured second place, but this means something to Caen, which is just one point above the drop and among nine teams in the running for the final relegation spot. A loss will give AS Monaco the means to survive. Replay: 5 p.m.

Paris Saint-Germain at Saint-Etienne, TV5 Monde USA, noon

CARLING NATIONS CUP

Scotland at Ireland

International Friendly

Uruguay at Germany, ESPN Deportes, 10:55 a.m.

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

D.C. United at Portland Timbers

MLS Direct Kick, 2 p.m.

Can D.C. United accomplish what the Chicago Fire, FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake, Philadelphia Independence and Columbus Crew haven't? Or does Timber Joey slice off more of the log as the Oregonians march to a sixth straight home win.

Western New York Flash at Philadelphia Independence, Fox Soccer Channel, 3 p.m. and midnight
