Jamaica at United States
Fox Soccer Channel and Univision (KMEX/Channel 34), noon

The Yanks' Gold Cup struggles have reignited calls for Bob Bradley's dismissal as head coach, and if the speedy, skillful, unbeaten and unscored-upon Reggae Boyz can pull the quarterfinal upset in Washington, it might just come to be. Replay: FSC, 8 p.m.

CONCACAF GOLD CUP
Panama vs. El Salvador

A stoppage-time goal that killed off Canada's chances gave Panama the Group C title over the vanquished Americans, and the Canaleros have to feel good about this quarterfinal matchup.

FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP

ESPNU and Galavision, 4 p.m.
Five local kids, including 16-year-old Galaxy forward Jack McBean, are part of a U.S. squad looking to better Landon Donovan and Co.'s semifinal run in this tournament a dozen years ago.

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

Galavision, 7 p.m.
The Timbers have dropped three straight one-goal decisions, two of them at home, where they were looking invincible. The Eastern Conference-leading Red Bulls ended a six-game winless streak but are rather beat up, and that could stop them from silencing Timber Joey's chainsaw.
Women's Professional Soccer
Boston Breakers at Atlanta Beat, Fox Soccer Channel, 3 p.m.

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY

Argentina has a sensational squad led by Lionel Messi and faces big demands from its countrymen. As Copa America's host, anything less than a championship will be disaster. Preparations for South America's nations championship continue against an unlikely foe.
  • ON LOCAL FIELDS

MLS RESERVE LEAGUE
Vancouver Whitecaps at Galaxy
Home Depot Center University Field 1 (Carson), 11 a.m.

MLS's reserves competition is about giving young players experience, backups playing time, and players coming off injury an opportunity to return to form, so results mean only so much. But the Galaxy would love a victory after starting the campaign with four losses.
