UEFA U-17 CHAMPIONSHIP
Germany vs. Netherlands
GolTV, 9 a.m. It's a rematch of last year's final, won by Holland, and the Germans have been unstoppable, winning all four of its games by shutout. The Dutch have conceded just one goal, and that was 196 minutes ago. Last year's scoreline -- 5-2 -- might be out of reach.

Colorado Rapids at D.C. United
MLS Direct Kick, 4:30 p.m.
The Rapids are pretty good at home but not much on the road, with four straight losses. D.C. had a seven-game unbeaten streak going until defeats at San Jose and Houston.
Corinthians (Brazil) at Vasco da Gama (Brazil)
Fox Deportes, 6 p.m.
Five of the six Brazilian clubs in South America's club championship made it to the knockout stage, and four of those five got to the quarterfinals -- and the only team that failed lost to countrymen. The winner here could get another Brazilian team in the semifinals (Santos), with another Brazilian side possibly waiting in the final (Fluminense).

Palisades High School (Pacific Palisades), 7:30 p.m. Pali looks for its first win after opening the season with a draw at Orange County Blue Star, then dropping its home opener to FC Tucson. La Mirada's Seahorses are playing their first game.

UEFA WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Lyon (France) vs. FFC Frankfurt (Germany)
GolTV, 9 a.m. Defending champion Lyon, with a lineup featuring former L.A. Sol star Camille Abily, plus Sonia Bompastor and Lotta Schelin, takes on the three-time champion from Germany. FFCF's roster includes American defender Gina Lewandowski.
Fluminense (Brazil) at Boca Juniors (Argentina)
Fox Deportes, 3:30 p.m.
The top-seeded Brazilians have lost just one of eight games in this year's South American club championship. A Group 4 home game against Boca. Fluz„o did win the La Bombanera showdown. This is the first leg of the quarterfinals.

Telefutura (KFTR/Channel 46), 6:50 p.m.
The top-seeded Guerreros visit the second-seeded Rayados for the opener of the home-and-home Clausura final, a rematch of the 2010 Apertura championship -- won by Monterrey, which is seeking its third title in seven seasons. Santos, which needed two late goals from Oribe Peralta to pull out its semifinal series against Tigres, have lost in three of the last four title series.
