Blues: Games in Corona, Santa Clarita
By Scott French
The United Soccer Leagues on Friday unveiled the 2011 USL Pro schedule, and the real news -- for L.A. Blues fans -- is that four home games are scheduled for Centennial High School in Corona with another slated for College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.
The other seven home games will be played at Cal State Fullerton's Titan Stadium, including the May 1 home debut against Antigua's Barracuda FC.
The Blues' opener is April 15 against Sevilla FC Puerto Rico in Juncos, Puerto Rico, which starts a four-games-in-eight-days trek in the Caribbean.
L.A. is in USL Pro's International Division with the four Caribbean teams: Barracuda, Sevilla, Puerto Rico United and River Plate Puerto Rico. The other 10 teams are in Dayton, Ohio, and points east.
The Blues will play four times against their divisional opponents and will not face five teams during the regular season.
