Best Bets Feb. 5/6: What to watch/where to go

Atletico Madrid at Barcelona
GolTV, 1 p.m.

Lionel Messi has 37 goals and 18 assists in 32 games, all competitions, for Barcelona this season. In the past three campaigns, the Argentine god has 122 goals and 47 assists in 136 matches. Astounding. Replay: 7:30 p.m.
Deportivo La Coruņa at Getafe, ESPN Deportes, 8:55 a.m.
Levante at Villarreal, GolTV, 11 a.m. and midnight
Italian Serie A
Sampdoria at Udinese, Fox Soccer Plus, 9 a.m. and midnight
Juventus at Cagliari, Fox Soccer Channel, 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.; Fox Deportes, 11:30 a.m.

Fulham at Aston Villa
Fox Deportes, 2 p.m.
We're looking for Michael Bradley to make his EPL debut in this one, and with so many prominent Americans present. Brad Friedel and Eric Lichaj are now his Aston Villa teammates, and Clint Dempsey features, of course, for Fulham. We're guessing Villa owner Randy Lerner, also an NFL owner (Cleveland Browns), will have another engagement this weekend. Replay: Fox Soccer Plus, 3 p.m.
Sunderland at Stoke City, ESPN2, 4:30 a.m.
West Bromwich Albion at Manchester City, Fox Soccer Plus, 6:55 a.m.
Arsenal at Newcastle United, Fox Soccer Channel, 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.; Fox Deportes, 7 a.m.
Manchester United at Wolverhampton, Fox Soccer Channel, 9:30 a.m.; Fox Deportes, 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Blackpool at Everton, Fox Soccer Plus, 1 and 9 p.m.
Bolton at Tottenham, Fox Soccer Channel, 2 p.m.
Norwich City at Burnley, Fox Soccer Plus, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Pachuca at Monterrey
Telemundo (KVEA/Channel 52), 3 p.m.
Fall champ Monterrey is struggling, with three losses in its first four Clausura clashes, but this could be the game to set things right. Pachuca, with former Galaxy forward Herculez Gomez a regular off the bench, was pounded last weekend by Cruz Azul and has scored just once since the 67th minute of the opener.
Atlante at Guadalajara, Telemundo (KVEA/Channel 52), 5 p.m.
Jaguares at Cruz Azul, Azteca America (KAZA/Channel 54), 5 p.m.
UANL Tigres at Santos Laguna, Galavision, 5 p.m.
Estudiantes Tecos at San Luis, TelFutura (KFTR/Channel 46), 7 p.m.

Once Caldas at Chico
GolTV, 5:30 p.m.
The reigning champ opens the Apertura on the road, with, yes, Juan Carlos Osorio in charge. Osorio, who Wednesday signed on as Honduras' national team coach, claims everything is structured so he can do both jobs. We'll see.
Independiente Santa Fe at Deportes Tolima, GolTV, 3:15 p.m.

Liverpool at Chelsea
Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Deportes, 8 a.m.
Spanish star Fernando Torres just made the move from Liverpool to Chelsea -- and now he'll try to shut down his former club, which has bounced back after a horrid start to the campaign and now sits seventh (at .500) in the EPL, just two spots from a Europa Cup berth next season. Replay: Fox Deportes, 2 p.m.
Birmingham City at West Bromwich Albion, Fox Soccer Plus, 5:30 a.m.
Cardiff City at Swansea City, Fox Soccer Plus, 7:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.

Atlas at Toluca
Telemundo (KVEA/Channel 52), 10 a.m.
Toluca is coming off successive shutouts of Pachuca, Jaguares and Tigres, and if it can find a little more offense -- just four goals in four Clausura games -- it's a legitimate contender. Atlas lost to America after winning its first three, and maybe we find out here if the Guadalajara club is for real.
Pumas UNAM at Puebla, Azteca America (KAZA/Channel 54), 10 a.m.
Gallos Blancos at America, Univision (KMEX/Channel 34), 2 p.m.

AS Roma at Inter Milan
Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Deportes, 11:30 a.m.
Inter has lost just once in nine outings since Leonardo took charge, and now they're third in Serie A, seven points behind first-place AC Milan (with a game in hand). Roma won the first meeting back in September. Replay: Fox Deportes, 11 p.m.
Catania at Bologna, Fox Soccer Plus, 3:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Fox Deportes, 10 a.m.
AC Milan at Genoa, Fox Deportes, 6 a.m.; Fox Soccer Channel, 2 p.m. and midnight
Spanish La Liga
Malaga at Sevilla, ESPN Deportes, 7:55 a.m.
Real Sociedad at Real Madrid, ESPN Deportes, 9:55 a.m.
Hercules at Valencia, GolTV, noon
French Ligue 1
Girondins Bordeaux at Lyon, Fox Soccer Plus, noon
