Where's the UCLA blue?

OMAHA -- There's not a whole lot of UCLA blue in the stands at Rosenblatt Stadium for Game 1 of the College World Series final round.

One has to try to spot the Bruins' colors. A small batch about 10 rows behind UCLA's third-base dugout is the only section worth noting. Other than that, it's mostly a pro-South Carolina crowd.

It shouldn't come as a complete shock.

When UCLA played host to Louisiana State in the Regional round, LSU fans swarmed to Jackie Robinson Stadium. Judging by shirt colors in the stands, the ratio then was about 70-30 purple to blue.

A week later in the Super Regional round against Cal State Fullerton, Titans' fans also outnumbered the home team's contingent.
