Halftime: USC 32, UCLA 29

2/14/2010

After committing nine turnovers in a sloppy first half, UCLA is fortunate to be trailing USC by just three points at the Galen Center.

The Bruins have missed nine of their 12 three-point attempts. Senior Nikola Dragovic leads UCLA with nine points -- but has missed four of his five shots from beyond the arc.

Freshman Brendan Lane -- who has averaged four minutes per game in conference play -- earned his first career start in place of the injured James Keefe. Fellow freshman Reeves Nelson has eight points on 4-for-5 shooting off the bench.

UCLA will have to limit the mistakes if it hopes to come back and maintain its 3-0 record at Galen Center unblemished.
