First came the tattoos. Then a black eye and a poke to the face. Then a concussion. Now this nasty spill.

Freshman Reeves Nelson continued to build on his legend in UCLA's 71-51 victory at Washington State on Thursday night. He received 15 stitches above his right eye after he landed on his face following an emphatic but out-of-control dunk. Nelson did not return to the game.

Coach Ben Howland said Nelson will be back in there Saturday against Washington.

"He looks like Rocky Balboa, but he should be fine," Howland said.

Nelson's eye is swollen, but he's been trying to reduce it with ice. Howland added that Nelson will play "regular minutes."
