Baseball: Bruins win Pac-10 title

UCLA lost on Sunday but so did Oregon State, meaning the Bruins secured the Pac-10 championship outright, their first since 1986.

The Bruins lost the finale to Arizona State, 10-5, but won the first two games to take the series. They finished with an 18-9 conference mark (33-22 overall) and were named Sunday as one of 16 regional hosts. Oregon State's 6-0 loss to in-state rival Oregon clinched UCLA's conference crown.

Los Angeles Regional action will begin Friday at Jackie Robinson Stadium. The Bruins will find out which three teams will join them when the 64-team NCAA Tournament field is announced Monday at 9:30 a.m. PT on ESPN.
