The Bruins are limping along at 13-15, and injuries have something to do with the record.
In a weekly news conference, coach Ben Howland gave an update of his walking wounded.
Forward Nikola Dragovic (right ankle) underwent X-rays Sunday and the results came back negative. The senior did not have a memorable Senior Day after spraining his ankle during warm-ups before Saturday's 70-68 loss to Oregon. Dragovic, who is also nursing a shoulder injury, did not practice Tuesday.
"Hopefully he'll be able to play," Howland said. The team travels to Tucson on Wednesday.
Forward Reeves Nelson (left eye) will be re-evaluated by Dr. Steven Schwartz of UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute on Wednesday morning before the team leaves for Arizona. He did not play in either of the Bruins' games last weekend after undergoing left-eye laser surgery to repair a torn retina. Nelson has been limited to bike exercises and light shooting.
Howland said he expected forward Brendan Lane (left ankle) to play this weekend. Lane practiced Tuesday and looked better, according to Howland. He played 23 minutes Saturday.
