UCLA leads USC 30-24 at the half after holding the Women of Troy to 28 percent shooting (including three for 16 from beyond the arc). USC has been forced into long-range shots, while UCLA has weaved its way to the bucket for 16 points in the paint.
Guard Darxia Morris leads No. 2-seeded UCLA with nine points. UCLA's lead reached 12 points, but USC closed the half on an 8-2 run.
The winner plays in the championship game against top-seeded Stanford, which breezed past No. 4 California, 64-44, earlier in the day.
