Halftime: UCLA 40, Washington State 26
Everything has seemingly gone the right way for UCLA, as it leads Washington State by 14 at halftime at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman, Wash.
Michael Roll and Tyler Honeycutt have not missed from the field (10 for 10), combining to score 25 points. The Bruins are shooting 70 percent from the field.
UCLA's defense has been good too. The Cougars were stuck on 24 points for seven minutes before a DeAngelo Casto basket stopped the bleeding with three seconds left in the half.
Speaking of bleeding, Reeves Nelson suffered a cut above the right eye after landing on his face following a dunk with less than five minutes left in the half. He remained on the floor for a few moments before walking into the locker room for further treatment. The game was delayed for about a minute until his blood was wiped off the hardwood.
