A number of vendors across the street from Rosenblatt Stadium are selling these shirts. Just don't let UCLA baseball players see them.
OMAHA, Neb. -- Thirteenth Street is buzzing more than two hours away from the first pitch of tonight's Game 2 between UCLA and South Carolina in the College World Series final. Fans are scurrying in and out of merchandise tents, bargaining for eliminated teams' discounted gear and snatching up Bruins and Gamecocks apparel. Others simply walk into the booths in search of shade, looking to escape the suffocating 90-degree heat.
Some, though, are trying to put a stop to sales.
A South Carolina fan walked into a tent hoping to persuade a vendor to bring down the shirts pictured above.
"Y'all have to bring those down," the man said. "We're far from that. They look good, but we're not there yet."
The vendor laughed, but refused to take the shirts off the wall.
"There's nothing wrong with being a little confident," the vendor said with a smile.
The shirts are going for $30.
