USC's 2012 schedule announced

By Pedro Moura

USC will begin its 2012 season at home Sept. 1 against Hawaii, coached by former Trojans offensive coordinator Norm Chow. The Trojans will also make their first visit to New York City in more than a decade and play a weekday game at Utah in 2012.

Other interesting aspects of the schedule include a regular-season finale against Notre Dame -- not UCLA -- and the Pac-12 conference opener against Stanford on Sept. 15, one of the earliest Weekenders in recent memory.

USC has only one bye week but doesn't face a single short week over the course of the season and doesn't have to leave Los Angeles in the month of November.

Per the school, game times and television plans for USC’s 2012 games will be announced at a later date, although all games will be on some form of national television thanks to the Pac-12’s new media rights agreement with ESPN and FOX and the launch of the Pac-12 Networks. The Pac-12 Championship Game will be played on Friday, Nov. 30, at the stadium of the division winner with the best overall conference record.

The full schedule follows:
