Reserve outfielder Reggie Willits left Sunday's Cactus League game against the Chicago Cubs in the third inning with a strained right hamstring.

If Willits misses a large amount of time, the Angels' reserve outfield job could be up for grabs again. Willits is competing with Terry Evans, Michael Ryan and Peter Bourjos for one extra outfielder job.

Willits finished fifth in rookie of the year balloting in 2007, but spent most of the next two seasons at Triple-A Salt Lake. He appeared to injure himself running after an RBI single off Randy Wells in the second inning.
