Somebody asked Bobby Wilsonif he knew what the Angels' record was when he started behind the plate.

"I don't want to know," Wilson said. "I just want to keep winning and keep bringing the ERA down."

Let's hope Wilson's not reading this, because here it is: 10-1.

Angels pitchers have performed best when Wilson is behind the plate. His catcher's ERA is easily the best on the team at 2.62. Granted, it's a small sample size, but the pitchers who have thrown to Wilson gush about his ability to call and frame pitches.

Don't be surprised to see Wilson behind the plate the next time Jered Weaver starts, this weekend against Colorado. Their chemistry has been ridiculous. Weaver has pitched 14 innings without allowing an earned run and has struck out 17 while allowing just five hits while throwing to Wilson.
