Miami morning take: Dolphins on 'MNF'

September, 30, 2013
NEW ORLEANS -- The Miami Dolphins are gearing up for their matchup against the New Orleans Saints on "Monday Night Football."

Here are the latest Dolphins stories from around the web:
  • Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post says the Dolphins carry new-found respect on the national stage.
Morning take: There will be a lot of curious NFL fans watching the Dolphins for the first time this season. This is a good showcase for Miami, win or lose.
Morning take: Defensive end Cameron Wake (knee), defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee) and linebacker Koa Misi (shoulder) are all questionable. Misi will play, but the other two will be game-time decisions.
Morning take: The biggest for me is controlling the pace of the game. Running the ball will be key for Miami and staying out of long down and distances.
Morning take: There was a time during the Dan Marino years when Miami was a fixture on “Monday Night Football.” But there have been some lean years after Marino. Perhaps things are turning around.

As a reminder, is live in New Orleans Monday. Be sure to check our Dolphins page and on Twitter @JamesWalkerNFL throughout the day for all the latest.
