Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Wake says he’s doing all he can to return to the field Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. He suffered a knee sprain two weeks ago and missed Monday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
But with the upcoming bye, there’s a train of thought that Miami could be cautious with Wake and get him two extra weeks of rest by sitting him one more game.
We opened this interesting topic to Dolphins fans this week and the results were mixed. Votes were nearly even on both sides, according to more than 2,000 votes in our SportsNation poll.
Miami’s defense hasn’t looked the same without Wake. The Dolphins are 3-0 with their Pro Bowl defensive end and 0-1 without him.
Ultimately, it will come down to Miami’s coaching and training staff to decide what’s in the best interest of Wake and the team.
