DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins (8-7) completed their final practice in preparation for the New York Jets (7-8) on Friday.

Here are some notes from Miami’s practice:
  • It appears all hands will be on deck for Sunday’s game against New York. The Dolphins had perfect attendance for the second straight day, and injured players such as running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) and receiver Brian Hartline (knee) were present and at least limited in the portion of practice open to the media. Health should not be an issue.
  • Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) wore a longer sleeve on his left leg. He’s had either long or short protective sleeve on his left knee every day this week in practice. It is unknown if Tannehill will wear a brace for Sunday’s game.
  • One thing Miami must be mindful of is getting off to a slow start. Miami has been outscored 67-43 in the first quarter of games this year. That’s led to a lot of comeback attempts. The Dolphins cannot take that kind of a risk this week in a must-win game.
