The Miami Dolphins have gone nearly two weeks without a general manager after Jeff Ireland “parted ways” with the team. A decision will be made soon in Miami. But on Friday, Dolphins fans get to play the role of ownership.
Here is our latest “Poll Friday” question: Who would you hire as Miami’s next GM?
Would it be Ray Farmer? The Cleveland Browns’ assistant GM has a good reputation around the NFL. However, Farmer’s teams have not done well, including the Browns last year.
What about Brian Xanders? He is the most experienced candidate from everyone that has interviewed so far. But Xanders also had his share of misses with the Denver Broncos, who fired him after the 2012 season.
Finally, Jason Licht of the Arizona Cardinals also interviewed. He was among the first candidates Miami brought in.
