Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Thursday from around the Web:
  • Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports the Dolphins general manager search could be over by Monday.
Morning take: Ray Farmer of the Cleveland Browns is the favorite from what I’m hearing. But the Dolphins haven’t made a final decision yet.
  • Dave Hyde of the Sun Sentinel wonders why the Dolphins’ coaches aren’t at the Senior Bowl.
Morning take: With a couple of new hires on staff, head coach Joe Philbin is working on getting things settled in South Florida. But Miami needs to add a general manager sooner than later.
  • Andy Kent from the Dolphins team site reports Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd is out to silence doubters.
Morning take: Boyd is a the type of player who could be a late-round target for Miami. The Dolphins have Ryan Tannehill as the starting quarterback, but the new general manager may want a developmental quarterback in the draft.
  • Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports the Dolphins should be able to find help on the offensive line in the draft.
Morning take: There is quality depth in the draft on the offensive line. The Dolphins should do all they can in the draft and free agency to patch up the weakest area of the team.
