Miami morning take: Reaction Monday

September, 9, 2013
Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Monday from around the web: Morning take: It was by no means a perfect game against the Cleveland Browns. The running game was non-existent and the passing game took three quarters to warm up. But the Dolphins did several things in victory that they can build on.
Morning take: Miami’s defense had a good beat on what the Browns were doing all game. The Dolphins were fast and aggressive for four quarters on defense and appear to be the clear strength of the team.
  • Jodie Valade of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says the Browns’ focus on Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace opened things up for Brain Hartline’s big day.
Morning take: Cleveland doubled Wallace for much of the game and held him to one catch for 15 yards. But other players like Hartline and Brandon Gibson got single coverage and made the most of it their opportunities.
Morning take: Not with a win against Cleveland. But the Dolphins have another chance to earn respect with a road game against the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday.
