Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Wednesday from around the Web:
  • Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post writes the Dolphins should expect more of Dion Jordan in Year 2.
Morning take: Jordan was a role player and special teamer as a rookie. That’s not good enough for the No. 3 overall pick. He must step up his game and earn more playing time.
  • Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel explores whether linebacker D’Qwell Jackson will join the Dolphins.
Morning take: I’m told Jackson’s Miami visit went well. But there is plenty of competition and he will take his time in making a decision.
  • Cornerback Brent Grimes told the Dolphins site that he’s excited about staying in Miami.
Morning take: The Dolphins signed Grimes to a four-year extension, which was a smart move. Grimes is coming off a career year and solidifies one cornerback position.
  • Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald looks at the futures of cornerbacks Nolan Carroll and Dimitri Patterson.
Morning take: Carroll was up and down last season and is expected to test the market next week. Patterson will make $5.4 million next season, which is too steep a price, and could be released.
