Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Thursday from around the Web:
  • Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald writes new Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert is poised to protect the blind side.
Morning take: Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill didn’t get much protection last season. He was a sacked a franchise-record 58 times. Albert should help lower that number.
  • Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel wonders if linebacker Koa Misi can play inside.
Morning take: I don’t see that happening with Misi. Miami’s middle linebacker must make all the checks, calls and direct traffic. There’s no reason to make Misi’s job even tougher.
  • Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post takes a look at the Dolphins’ all-time free-agent signings.
Morning take: Miami had a terrific free agent last year in Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes. Is he No. 1?
Morning take: It is a hard slot to predict for the Dolphins. But the team still needs offensive linemen.
