Dolphins over/under: Ryan Tannehill

5/19/2014

The Miami Dolphins enter a big third year under head coach Joe Philbin. This also means it will be a huge year for several key players, including starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

This week, we will examine over/under totals for important players. Perhaps no single player is more important than Tannehill, who is 15-17 as a starter through two seasons. It’s still up for debate whether Tannehill is the long-term solution in Miami. He was a first-round pick, No. 8 overall, in 2012.

Will Tannehill throw for more than 4,100 yards in 2014? That is a good number to mark growth and success for Tannehill in Year 3. Last season he fought through offensive line issues and still recorded 3,913 passing yards. Miami is expected to have better protection. But Tannehill must still improve his deep ball and his ability to read defenses.

Using our SportsNation poll, vote on the over/under of 4,100 passing yards for Tannehill this season. You can share your thoughts in the comments section below or send a message via Twitter to @JamesWalkerNFL.
