The Miami Dolphins signed first-round draft pick Ja'Wuan James Thursday following the final session of mandatory minicamp. James announced the signing of the four-year contract via Twitter.
James was taken No. 19 overall by Miami in an effort to fix its offensive line, which allowed a franchise-record 58 sacks last season. James is expected to start at right tackle for the Dolphins.
Miami has one remaining player left to sign in its 2014 draft class. Guard Billy Turner (third-round pick) still hasn’t finalized his contract.
