Miami Dolphins training camp is just around the corner. Dolphins players will take the field for the first time on Friday to kick off their 2014 season.

There will be plenty of angles and players to watch during the summer of development for Miami. This team must have a productive training camp in order to get off to a fast start to the regular season. The Dolphins will start the season against the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills, who have had Miami's number in recent years.

That brings us to our latest poll question: What is the biggest training camp storyline for Miami?

Is it the new offense under first-year assistant coach Bill Lazor? The Dolphins fired former offensive coordinator Mike Sherman after the offense struggled mightily last season. Miami failed to run or pass the ball with any consistency in 2013. Lazor, who learned under Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, is bringing an up-tempo style to Miami. So far there have been some growing pains.

Speaking of offense, what about Ryan Tannehill's development? The Dolphins’ starting quarterback is entering a crucial third season. Tannehill is 15-17 as a starter and must lead Miami to the playoffs this year in order to prove he’s the long-term solution. All eyes will be on Tannehill as he learns a new offense.

Miami’s offensive line also is a big story to watch this summer. The Dolphins will have five new starters in Week 1 when they take the field against the Patriots. New Miami general manager Dennis Hickey made major changes after last year’s struggles and the team is expected to be without Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey (hip) for the first four to six games.

Finally, the Dolphins have an important linebacker experiment on defense. Miami is moving former middle linebacker Dannell Ellerbe outside and bringing Koa Misi inside in hopes of getting more playmaking from this unit. This summer will be big for both players to continue to develop in new positions.
