Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Wednesday from around the Web:
  • Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald writes Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace says he's prepared for Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Morning take: This will be a good matchup of speed vs. technique. But Patriots head coach Bill Belichick could use Revis in a variety of ways.
  • Chris Perkins of the Sun Sentinel writes the Dolphins aim to show an improved run defense.
Morning take: Much of it comes down to improved linebacker play. The Dolphins are hoping Koa Misi, Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler collectively have better seasons.
  • Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post writes Dolphins rookie receiver Jarvis Landry will return kicks.
Morning take: Landry earned the punt return job from former returner Marcus Thigpen. The kickoff return job is more open.
  • Andy Cohen of the Dolphins team site writes head coach Joe Philbin and his clock management.
Morning take: Philbin has not had issues with managing the clock in his first two seasons. That’s a good skill to have as a head coach.
