Miami morning take: Fixing running game

By James Walker

Here are the most recent Miami Dolphins stories Thursday from around the Web: Morning take: Miami is ranked 28th in rushing and hasn’t shown much in five weeks. The blame mostly goes on the offensive line, which is failing to create holes. Running backs Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas also need to do a better job of eluding tacklers.
Morning take: There haven’t been a lot of opportunities for running backs, particularly in the past two losses. It is time to provide more carries for Miller to truly see what he can do.
Morning take: Quarterback Ryan Tannehill gets one of the highest grades (B+) from Hyde in his second season. It’s astounding Tannehill has held up and played this well with little pass protection or a running game.
Morning take: Soliai is a pending free agent, and the Dolphins have a decision to make between him and fellow defensive tackle Randy Starks. I would re-sign Soliai because of his ability to stuff the run.
