Tony FergusonRic Fogel for ESPN.comAll in a night's work: Tony Ferguson picked up a contract and some coin in the TUF finale.
Tony Ferguson’s knockout win over Ramsey Nijem Saturday didn’t just earn him a six-figure contract with the UFC. It also got him $40,000 on the spot.

Ferguson (11-2) used a well-placed left hook to put Nijem down in the first round of their headlining bout at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale in Las Vegas. UFC president Dana White tweeted shortly after the performance had won "Knockout of the night."

It beat out several notable knockouts on the card. Bantamweight Scott Jorgensen (12-4) finished Ken Stone with a right hand from inside his guard -- a feat rarely seen in mixed martial arts. Middleweight Ed Herman (22-9) needed just 48 seconds to knock out Tim Credeur and featherweight George Roop (12-7-1) dropped heavily favored Josh Grispi in the third round with a body shot.

Also on the card, bantamweight Reuben Duran (8-3-1) took "Submission of the night" honors for his third-round win over Francisco Rivera. Light heavyweight fighters Kyle Kingsbury (11-2) and Fabio Maldonado (18-4) won "Fight of the night."

The event drew a total attendance of 1,857. All bonuses consisted of $40,000.
