Rapper Mac Miller brought his Pittsburgh posse out to Los Angeles to film his new MTV2 reality series, "Mac Miller and The Most Dope Family," in a six-part special, and he's already making friends.
"Our neighbors hate us!" Miller said.
That's no doubt when you're a 21-year-old partyer. You have half-naked girls running around the neighborhood. And you and your buddies are playing golf off the mansion's rooftop.
"I saw this car driving up the hill. With my pitching wedge, I aimed and hit the ball," Miller said. "The ball landed right on top of the roof. That's how you do it."
Playbook had a few minutes with Miller to talk about the move to Los Angeles, his crew and his new show, which debuts tonight at 11:30 on MTV2.
What's the weather out there?
"It's cold. It's chilly."
Wait. What? It's probably 60 degrees. You're from Pittsburgh!
"You know how it is. When you move to a warm climate, your blood thins and you adapt. I'm cold, man."
So what's it like out there?
"I like it, dude. It's one of the best decisions of my life to be out here. It's really this journey to think creatively and start taking control of everything. I have a place to call my own. It's almost like starting over."
